Why I enjoyed every minute:

Isle of Wight - ferry to the island with four set-free-from-work grown ups and four excited children. Sunshine and trampoline. Laughter. Late afternoon and the sandiest beach all to our selves. We built the biggest sandcastle city with roads and tunnels, turrets and shells and home made flags. Fish and chips as the tide came in. Tobogan. Picnics and french cricket. Wine and great dinners cooked by Simon. It was a magical week.
