Why I enjoyed every minute:

Oakham a delightful town with lots of thatch cottages. Uppingham is charming town with lots of Antique shops. Stamford is the most complete Elizabethan town in England. Then Normanton, it was flooded to make Rutland water, but the church was rebuilt and is now an important museum. A boat trip was a must to feel the stillness of the water. Round the water were numerous "hides" , the main one had a camera focused on an Osprey in the nest. All in all a great holiday in England.
