Why I enjoyed every minute:

Walked from Seatown in Dorset up onto Golden Cap, the highest point on the South Coast, on a fabulous late summers day, with views for miles across land and sea. Returned downhill through fields full of ripening sweetcorn, to watch the sun setting from the garden of the Anchor pub, right on the beach, over beer and whitebait. A perfect afternoon.
