Why I enjoyed every minute:

Our stay ticked all of our boxes, it was our wedding anniversary a surprise break for my wife. The castle is most imposing, traditional, moated with a working portcullis.The welcome is excellent, the accomodation is superb the service exemplary and the food divine. We had a private dining room just for the two of us, a decadence that I will not be able to afford often but well worth it. Everyone should try it once.
